Brazz Brothers and Women Unite from South Africa drew a full house under their concert in Maputo on 9th of April.
The ensembles have been working together on the fusion project “South Afro Brazz” since 2003. They took the audience on a journey from the townships outside Cape Town to the Norwegian fjords. With 14 musicians on stage – wind players, drum payers and a number of African instruments, South Afro Brazz created a great atmosphere.
The program went from fusion with a lot of energy to a cappella, including Norwegian songs translated to Xhosa.
The Embassy would like to thank South Afro Brazz for their contribution and wish them the best of luck in the future.
