16/05/2008 :: NOMA is a programme providing financial support to establish and develop Master Degree Programmes at higher education institutions in the South in close collaboration with corresponding insititutions in Norway.
The aim of all educational activities within NOMA is to contribute to educate staff in public and private sectors, as well as NGOs, through building capacity in the South.
The programme is financed by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and managed by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU). The total budget frame for the current programme period (2006-2010) is NOK 343 million.
